Poken featured on front page of Nikkei Shimbun

On April 7, a reporter and cameraman from the Nikkei Shimbun attended the Business in Japan event. They interviewed several guests and asked about their experience with poken. More specifically they wanted to know how poken is used in a business environment, for professional purposes.

Business in Japan is a community with more than 10,000 members on LinkedIn, one of the most popular global social networks to share business contacts.

Last year Rob Pereyda, the founder and manager of the group, started organizing networking events so the group members can also meet with each other in real life. The event earlier this month drew almost 1,000 attendees. Given the international character of the event and the broad range of industries represented by the participants Poken Japan acted as a sponsor in collaboration with JExpert.jp and the organizing team. As mentioned in an earlier blog post the raffle participants were offered included pokens and one of them will win an iPad offered by JExpert.

On April 15 the article was published, on the front page of the evening edition. We have received a lot of very positive reactions since!

We would like to thank everyone for participating in the interviews, especially @ipodgasuki-san and @masakawamukai-san.
